Ion Soft Landing Instrumentation
Ion soft-landing is the deposition of intact species on surfaces at low kinetic energies (0-100 eV). Our research includes understanding this phenomenon, design and construction of new mass spectrometry instruments to effect soft landing, and research into new applications.
